Thanks for the response but that is not the case. It seems to only do it after a reboot. Once closed it seems to not pop back up again.

Make sure it's not in the startup section when you run a msconfig (start/run/)... If you right click on the system tray icon, and close/exit it, you should have a prompt about not starting it up ever...
